The First Halloween Chess Tournament was a HUGE SUCCESS. The children had a great time despite hosting the tournament after such a sugar filled and busy holiday. We had 32 players show up enthusiastically ready to show their stuff in the game of chess. We had aha moments and some sad ones as well, but overall we made more friends and learned from our mistakes.

The Halloween tournament had two sections a rated section labeled "The Vampires” and the unrated section called “The Werewolves”. The winners were as follows:
