Summer Bash Results

WOW SUMMER is almost over but our chess bash was fun.....
Winners were KAYLA ROSE BLOCK and JACOB MELOON.
We all had a great time using the auditorium for the first time in a chess tournament, which was a last moment change, but no problem arose, the Meloon's, Elliott and Cirillo's pitched in, and it went flawlessly. Thank you all for the support......now here is how it ended up.

Chess Summer Bash, Interscholastic Chess Tournament

Date & Time: July 13TH, starts promptly at 8:30am until approximately 12:00pm.
Location: Global Concepts Charter School, 1001 Ridge Road, Lackawanna, NY 14218.

Bring your own chess set and clock (GCCC will provide only 10 sets).Play as many rounds before 12:00pm.
Late arrivals will receive a ½ pt. bye and/or no shows will be withdrawn from the tournament after 1st round.

Section #1 (U1200): $5.00 Nonrefundable fee (must have a valid USCF membership)
USCF Rated section 4 or more rounds G/30, with Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Section #2 (U600): $5.00 Nonrefundable fee (must have a valid USCF membership)
Under 500 USCF rated section 4 or more rounds G/30, with Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Section #3 (Unrated): $5.00 Nonrefundable fee (for Non-USCF members)
Unrated section 4 or more rounds G/30, with Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
