We are a scholastic chess club which accepts new members with open arms. We host 9 to 12 chess tournaments a year and also participate in some around the area. The USCF affiliate "QueensKnight Scholastic Chess" permits us to have rated tournaments. Every tournament also has an unrated section for beginners, who want to get a feel of his or her abilities.
